Silicon enhances carburization and oxidation resistance to 2100°F, while high nickel maintains austenitic structure and prevents embrittlement. Mechanical properties include tensile strength of 600 MPa min, yield strength of 280 MPa, elongation of 45% min, and excellent creep rupture strength at elevated temperatures.
