ASTM A335 P11 pipes include carbon (0.05-0.30%), manganese (0.30-0.60%), phosphorus and sulfur (≤0.025% each), silicon (0.50-1.00%), chromium (1.00-1.50%), and molybdenum (0.44-0.65%). They provide minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa (60 ksi), yield strength of 205 MPa (30 ksi), and elongation of 30% longitudinal (20% transverse), with maximum hardness around 179 HBW or 25 HRC after normalizing and tempering at 650°C. These ensure excellent high-temperature durability, toughness, and weldability up to 620°C.
