Stainless Steel 347 Tubing contains 17-19% chromium, 9-13% nickel, max 0.08% carbon, max 2% manganese, max 0.75-1% silicon, max 0.045% phosphorus, max 0.03% sulfur, and niobium (columbium) 10xC min to 1% max for stabilization, with density of 7.9-8.0 g/cm³. It resists intergranular corrosion and oxidation up to 900°C, with good formability and weldability. Mechanical properties include minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, elongation of 40%, and hardness max 201 HB or 95 HRB.
