ASTM A335 P23 pipes contain carbon (0.04-0.10%), manganese (0.10-0.60%), phosphorus (≤0.030%), sulfur (≤0.010%), silicon (≤0.50%), chromium (1.90-2.60%), molybdenum (0.05-0.30%), tungsten (1.45-1.75%), vanadium (0.20-0.30%), niobium (0.02-0.08%), nitrogen (≤0.03%), boron (0.0005-0.006%), and aluminum (≤0.03%). They deliver minimum tensile strength of 510 MPa, yield strength of 400 MPa, and 20% elongation, with excellent high-temperature creep resistance and weldability after heat treatment.
