Mechanical properties vary with temper: in O temper tensile strength approx. 186 MPa, yield 76 MPa, elongation 22%; in T4 tensile 324 MPa, yield 120 MPa, elongation 19%; in T6 tensile 348 MPa, yield 193 MPa, elongation 7%.
